Veteran Ted Tribett and his wife were one household selected to receive the roof through the Owens-Corning National Roof Deployment Project. Contractors from AmeriPro Roofing started the project Monday morning.
Organizers say they are honored to acknowledge the service of deserving veterans.
“Through Owens-Corning and Habitiat for Humanity, and our contractor network, that American dream is associated with through Owens-Corning, we find eligible veterans to help, that are in need to help provide them a new roof for thier family,” Nick Rosynek of AmeriPro Roofing said.
Tribett said, “It’s like a dream long time coming true. It’s just awesome.”
Since 2016, the Owens-Corning National Roof Deployment Project has built more than 100 roofs for veterans.
